Fake Currency Notes Worth Rs 8.9 Lakh Seized from Local Politician

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has detained counterfeit cash notes worth Rs 8.9 lakh from a neighborhood Politician in Mumbai.

As indicated by the officials the fakes notes duplicated security highlight of unique notes and were exceptionally hard to distinguish.

The DRI sleuths said that the notes were imprinted in Bangladesh and provided by means of North-Eastern area in India.

In most recent two months, this is third instance of fake money in Mumbai and neighboring regions. In prior two cases, A huge volume of FICN of Rs. 2000 notes and also few notes of Rs 500 has been seized by the DRI authorities.
